Education at JPL
green line

"To inspire the next generation...as only NASA can."

Education at JPL At JPL, the Education Office is part of the Office of Communications and Education. The programs and opportunities are jointly supported with NASA's Education Enterprise (Code N) and other Enterprises. The goal of the Education Office is to offer access to opportunity at every level of one's academic and professional career. JPL's Education Office offers pathways to career choices in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through supporting policy, public outreach, and the NASA Education Pipeline Initiatives.

This Team is primarily sponsored by the Education Enterprise's Minority Research and Education Programs (MUREP) through JPL's Education Office, Minority Education Initiatives. This Team strives to offer access to JPL for underserved, underrepresented and underutilized communities across the nation. The success of our nation's space program depends on the diverse backgrounds and talents of its workforce. As a technological leader, JPL strives to maintain a workforce that mirrors the nation's diversity. This approach supports the teaming environment that continues to create opportunity from ideas and generate innovation from opportunity.

In the pages that follow, you will find opportunities for pre-college through post-doctoral students and educators at all levels. Please read the program information and use the information on the Educational Opportunities page to select the program best suited for you. We are committed to achieving the goal of academic excellence for all citizens through total participation of our nation. We invite you to join us, and "see learning in a whole new light."
